✨ Random acts of kindness from our Sub-Editors ✨

⭐ Emily T (Student): I cooked my friend a roast dinner - it didn’t go exactly to plan but it still tasted good!

⭐ Emily A (Graduate): For Random Acts of Kindness Day, I will be making some time to be kind to myself because this is something I struggle with. I love spending all my time helping others but it means I often don't pay the same attention to myself. I'm planning on leaving work a little bit early but don't have anything planned because I think the most important part of being kind to yourself is doing exactly what you feel like in the moment! If I'm very tired, this might look like a bathtime and relaxed evening but if I'm a bit more energetic, I might take an evening beach walk, cook a big dinner, or have a productive evening pottering around as I please!

⭐ Joe (Graduate): I proofread my brother’s university essays in a very condensed time period to help him ensure he submits them before the deadline.

⭐ Niraj (Graduate): One act of kindness I have done for myself is to delete Instagram so that I can avoid being distracted and stop comparing myself to others.

⭐ Madeleine (Graduate): My act of kindness will be taking a friend out for a coffee to check in and see how they're doing.

⭐ Alyssa (Student): This month, I adopted two abused rescue cats! So, I’m sharing love and kindness in February by giving them a happy forever home!
